Description
As the state dog of Alaska these large canines were originally bred as Arctic utility dogs, and could be seen hauling freight, pulling sleds, or assisting their human companions in the hunt. Today they are extremely popular as house pets, and are often employed as therapy companions. Just make sure they get their exercise!
